Story
I've jumped out of planes from 15,000ft, bungy jumped off a bridge at 134m, but running 26.2 mile is by far the most challenging and scariest activity I'm yet to face!
I have been lucky enough to get a ballot place in the Virgin Money London Marathon 2020. Of course, these things never go smoothly and after getting up to 18 miles in training, I've now deferred my place until April 2023. The pandemic will probably feel like a thing of history by the time this comes round!
I will be running for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice based locally in North Staffordshire that provide support and care for patients with life limiting illnesses and cancer.
I am extremely looking forward to the huge challenge that is ahead of me and I would massively appreciate any donations that can be given towards this fantastic cause.
Thank you in advance.
