Story

Thank you for visiting Teamsykes JustGiving page raising money for the MND Association. In 2016 Ian Sykes sadly lost his battle with Motor Neurone Disease. We have set up this page to ensure that in his memory we make 2017 a bumper fundraising year! To start the fundraising off Charlotte Layton will once again take on the Manchester 10K on Sunday 28th May her 5th year running for MND.

On the 3rd June it's the first of our Team events, 'It's a Knockout'. Ten Teamsykes members (see photo) will be taking part with the aim of raising as much money and awareness as we can. Ian's wife Allyson wil be taking part alongside Ian's daughters Danielle and Jen. Making up the rest of the team are Ian's son in law Nathan, his granddaughter Millie, niece Emily Morgan and family friends Charlotte Layton, Phil Worth and Rochelle and Danny Heslop. We have already raised £200 for this event but we need to raise much more. There will be many more events to come this year so please keep checking back!

By sponsoring Teamsykes your money will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. The MND Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to improve care and support for people affected by MND . Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. With JustGiving your details are safe - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the MND Association. Thank you again Teamsykes XXX
