We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

My name is Charlotte and today I took part in the yearly Bloodwise walk. I did this because I want to support people with blood cancers including my Grandma who has a rare blood cancer called Polycythaemia vera. I know what it's like to live with a rare disease as I have Cowden Syndrome. I also have chronic fatigue syndrome and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, this means I have very limited energy. Today's walk is the farthest I've walked in nearly 18 months. I realise that to most people 5 miles isn't far, but to me it's a marathon but it was really important to me to do it. Please consider sponsoring this very good cause, blood cancers affect people of all ages from babies and up, help me make a difference. Thank you x

P.s my mum wouldn't let me put a fundraiser page up until after I had done it as she was worried I'd force myself to do the walk during a flare up and make myself ill.
