100ft Drop - Conquering my fear of heights and helping a valuable charity at the same time
Along with fellow (mad) colleagues at Amey I will be abseiling 100ft down the side of the in on Sunday 3rd October in aid of the Oxford Cancer Centre, Amey’s charity for 2010, helping thousands of Cancer patients every year.
Now this may not seem like the biggest challenge to set myself but my fear of heights is quite irrational and more than 3 steps up on a step-ladder is enough for me, fittingly before walking voluntarily off the edge of the building I need to climb as the letter states ‘a small vertical ladder to access the roof’ off to a good start then!
Really I need as much encouragement as I can get so please help me by donating as much as you can afford to the Oxford Cancer Centre here and Amey will match it £ for £.
