A close friend has recently beaten bowel cancer, thank goodness, but others have not been so fortunate. I want to do something to help fight this disease which has affected those we know and love. I would appreciate your support.

In the past, wandering 'round London at night usually involved looking for a cab in uncomfortable shoes after a couple of glasses of wine. The difference is, this time there's no wine and I can wear trainers. The similarity resides in the lack of cab. 

I'm not too fazed by the distance but it will be a challenge to find my trainers and stay awake beyond 9.30pm.
