Me and my friends: Charlie and Luke are planning a concert in aid of people suffering from mental health issues. I’m loving memory of my childhood friend, Jay who sadly killed himself in September. 1 in 4 adults suffer from some form of mental health issue and we would like to raise money for this charity by doing something that we are passionate about - performing. We usually go to an open mic night at the Plough in Shepreth where anybody can go up and perform. We make music for fun and it's a hobby of ours, so we thought why not tie the two together? The selected songs are related to mental health, whether that's about what it's like, helping someone out in a mental health crisis or recovering from one. By choosing these songs, we hope to get a message across to our audience about what it's like and that there is hope. We encourage you to attend and make a donation and if you can't make it, feel free to donate to this page because every penny counts. The gig will take place on the 25th of June 2019 at the plough in shepreth.
Thank you again for visiting my page and reading this and i hope to see you at the concert.
