On Saturday 18th June, I will be taking part in the Parish Walk and hoping to complete the 85 mile walk for a second time. Last year a close family member was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and I am so unbelievably proud of how they have tackled everything head on since then however this is a condition they will have to live with the rest of life. Diabetes Isle of Man is a local charity helping to ensure everyone impacted by diabetes receives the best possible care and treatment.
