Story
In less than two weeks I will be setting out for three days of trekking on remote mountain trails across the French Alps in aid of St George's School, Ethiopia, and I’d really appreciate your support.
We will be hiking to altitudes of almost 3000m, sleeping in remote mountain refuges and carrying all our own kit. I can assure you that this would not be my alpine activity of choice! I hope I can rise to the challenge of the daily 20k hikes. I am less sure how I feel about the mountain refuges!
The school educates 500 extremely deprived children from the ages of 5-18. Ethiopia is currently a ravaged, war-torn country living under the imminent threat of famine. NAEF, the charity which funds the school, is in desperate need of funding to continue the free education of these children and give them a chance of a better life.
Anything that you can donate would be hugely appreciated. 100% of any money that you are able to give will go directly to NAEF and the children of St. George's School, Ethiopia.
We set off on 2nd October, wish us luck and thank you so much for your support! x
