We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Cancer affects so many people and recently has affected many
of my friends and my family. For me personally I lost my nan 3 years ago following a 2-year battle with Leukaemia, just 6 weeks before I gave birth to Oscar, Cancer has meant that she never met him, something that makes me sad every day!

The same month my best lifelong friend lost her dad who was just 58 to Mesothelioma, not something you should have to experience in your life so early on! He will not get to see his gorgeous grandchildren grow up and they all miss him dearly!

And At Christmas I lost my father-in-law suddenly to bowel cancer. He was a strong and loving man who will be missed so much by everyone who knew him, especially by little boy of idolised him, he was an amazing dad to Mike and grandad to Oscar!

I have decided to run the Hull 10k in June to raise money for cancer research as the sooner we can concur this disease the better. I am not
particularly fond of running but I am running in memory of anyone who has been affected because of this horrible disease but mostly for my amazing nan, Audrey Salter, D’s amazing Dad, Mark Cockram and my amazing father-in-law Geoffrey Eastburn.

So If you can, please sponsor me to help with the fight
against cancer.
