Fundraising for Jewish Women's Aid (JWA)
Story
Dear Friends and Family
In order to celebrate my bat mitzvah I have decided to take part in the Bnei Mitzvah challenge. This involves spending three days trekking in the Lake District where I will attempt to hike up both Hellvelyn and St Sunday Crag.
Part of the reason why I am taking part in this trek is due to the charity that I am raising for money, Jewish Women's Aid (www.jwa.org.uk). This charity does amazing work supporting Jewish women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence.
JWA helps individuals mentally recover from domestic and sexual abuse. They provide therapy for all ages. They have a 24 a day hour call centre fully staffed by qualify volunteers.
The charity also provides educational support in Jewish schools throughout the UK.
