It’s my 30th birthday in January and I’d like to raise money for this wonderful cause instead of getting gifts. I’ll be jumping out of a plane somewhere in the midlands, attached to what will hopefully be a very knowledgeable instructor! 

Most of us know someone who has been affected by cancer: it’s a cruel illness and no one should have to face it. I’ve known two wonderful children with cancer and unfortunately one of them did not survive it; we need to do all we can to ensure that every child affected by cancer recovers and goes on to live the full life that they deserve. 

I’ve never done anything like this before, but I know I’ll be able to go through with it when thinking about just how brave children with cancer have to be.
