On the 14th November 2013, a truly inspirational young woman, and good friend of mine from school, lost her fight against cancer. Jayne Carslake, or Pinder as I knew her most, lived her life to the fullest and squeezed every ounce of fun from the 35 short years she spent with us. Her strength of character in the face of adversity and ability to smile through everything was truly a testament to her attitude that "life is a disco...you don't always like the music, but you carry on dancing anyway."

In her memory, and in an effort to keep "dancing to the music" for Jayne, I hope to raise money for Myeloma UK who help people facing a similar battle with Myeloma.  Please give generously to this worthwhile cause, and support my efforts in running the half marathon this year.
