Our little boy Charlie was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy on 17th October this year and a short time later was transferred to the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. He has since been placed on the Urgent heart transplant list, and fitted with an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) to help his heart function. Scott House funded by the SICK CHILDRENS Trust has enabled us to be with Charlie since arriving in Newcastle and where Charlie will remain in hospital until he receives the gift of a new heart. We have already been overwhelmed by the love and support from friends, family, strangers and staff here at the hospital but people keep asking if they can do more.

It costs £30 a day or £900 a month for us to stay at Scott House, all of which has been funded by this amazing charity. As Charlie approaches and reaches many of his "big firsts" like first steps, first Halloween, first Christmas, first birthday, becoming a big brother to twin sisters, we would like to celebrate these by raising money for Scott House. 

So rather than sending us a card, or Charlie a gift (he has already received so many) we would love it if you could donate money to Scott House instead.
