Making the most of a few months in the heat, the three of us are running in the Wadi Rum Ultra Marathon in Jordan. This is a multi stage desert race of 260km (6 marathons) in 5 days. Charity was not one of the original motivating factors but retrospectively thought it might be a good opportunity to raise a some money for an excellent cause. Every day, seven people leave the Armed Forces with life changing injuries. Many struggle, meaning they and their families need specialist help to aid recovery from wounds both visible and hidden.
