Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Charlie Ellacott in Yr10 very sadly passed away last week
having battled cancer for the last 5 years.
Charlie joined our school in January 2022 and although he
was not able to attend more than a handful of times, he made a lasting impression. Charlie had an opinion on most things and wasn’t afraid of speaking his mind! He was a young person with a
wicked sense of humour, a huge fan of Palace football club, enjoyed gaming and loved his family dearly.
Words like battling and defying the odds often seem to be associated
with cancer but Charlie really came to define this. Time and time again he would overcome his illness and prove doctors wrong, whilst at the same time making jokes about his condition.
Charlie will be greatly missed by all, and our thoughts are with his Mum, Dad and siblings Rae, Matthew and Owen. If you would like to donate to a charity on behalf of Charlie, his family have suggested the Young lives vs Cancer who have helped them out over the last 5 years.
