Story
On the 9th of July 2006, I became the proudest man in the world. A couple of weeks early and just under 6lbs my beautiful little boy Charlie Richard Christopher Edy was born. My first child, he had more hair than I ever had, and my chin! As soon as I saw him I felt such a rush of love for him. I couldn’t stop kissing him, couldn’t stop hugging him, this was my boy. my shining star, my little soldier. He was going to support the Gills with me, He was going to help me restore my Golf with me, We were going to do all the things Father and Son did together.
Just 3 months later on the 12th of October 2006 Charlie passed away. Another Victim of SIDS. This was the worst day of my life. Please don't let his death be in vain, please help us to raise money so no other family has to suffer. If one childs life is saved from money raised in Charlies memory then it won't have been in vain.
We have been overwhelmed by your reponses, donations and kind words. Despite beating the original £5000 target we aim to surpass that by a long way. This is why the target has been risen. Thank you so much to everyone who donated. It will go a long way to helping other children and families.
This continued support means so much for the cause and to Victoria, myself and our families.
Although we have beaten the target please please continue to pass this page around as the level of awareness will only help the foundation.
God Bless you my gorgeous son and everyone who has visited.
