Story
On the 24th April 2015, with little under a month since I got married, my loving father; Charlie Cannell sadly passed away at Nobles Hospital on the Isle of man following a valiant battle with a serious and unexpected infection. He was 63 years old, recently retired and enjoyed long walks in the countryside, appreciating and admiring the natural wildlife the Islands hills plantations offered.
My Dad will be a great loss to both me and my family, but in the time he was in my life, he taught me some simple but valuable lessons.
"Learn to take time to stop and smell the flowers" he'd say.
It's the simple things in life that we often overlook. We are too busy going about our hectic lives much of the time to really appreciate what's in front of us; natural beauty and life, all the magnificent things that surround us. Stop and take the time to appreciate them, including above all, your family.
Rainforest's and the trees within are the route of all nature, they've been here since the beginning of time, have seen everything we've ever done, and will last forevermore.
Let's take the time the appreciate these often overlooked wonders of nature.
Let's protect them.
Let's donate.
Thank you. Sam x
