Story
Charlie and I are taking the plunge (literally!) and doing a SKYDIVE on 2nd September 2022. Charlie’s story is an incredible one. Born with Cystic Fibrosis but not diagnosed until his first birthday, Charlie’s life has been a struggle. I don’t say this lightly. Charlie was given six months to live when he was 9 years old and thanks to the selfless generosity of a donor and their family he received a bilateral lung transplant at GOSH on 31st July 2014 aged 10 years old.
His determination and spirit made to an incredible recovery and Charlie lives a fantastic life albeit with a gruelling daily drug regime. We used to dream of things we’d like to do one day together and here we are 8 years later! As Charlie is 18 and I’m a lot older we have decided to go for it. Charlie has been given clearance by his medical team and we are doing a Sky Dive with @skydivegb on Friday. We are both petrified!
Please could you kindly donate £5 (or any donation of your choice). All monies raised will be given to Cystic Fibrosis Care Charity Number 1162445 to help those living with and care for someone with CF.
Thank you x
