For over three years my Dad received treatment from the Macmillan Unit at the West Suffolk Hospital. Everyone there has been fantastic with him; the receptionists, nurses, specialists and oncologist. From the first day he walked in there he was always made to feel welcome and relaxed which helped take away some of the anxiety that he had about his treatment.

For some time I have been planning to walk the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for Macmillan and the work that they do; not just for my Dad but for the many people that they help all over the country.

Sadly my Dad passed away in January so the walk in May will also be a tribute to him.

Donations are greatly appreciated and seriously it doesn't matter how much. Whatever you can give will be special and hopefully it will help Macmillan treat more patients in the same way as they did with my Dad.
