Story

This year the Foundation has TEN amazing fundraisers that will be taking part in this amazing race which guides participants through many of London's most famous landmarks including Nelson's Column, St Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey! The Matt Hampson Foundation provides expert physiotherapy, specialist personal training, support, mentoring and advice to people suffering a life-changing injury. The Get Busy Living Centre is a unique facility which opened its doors in 2018 and is the brainchild of founder and former England and Leicester Tigers rugby player Matt Hampson, who himself experienced a life-changing injury in 2005 leaving him paralysed from the neck down, aged just 20.

Without this facility and it’s staff, my friend Drew’s continued recovery wouldn’t have been as positive as it has. The foundation has also been a great help to Drew’s mental health, and his family - arranging trips to the races, driving experiences and other wonderful days out to keep Drew and his family motivated and having fun!
