In August 2021 we sadly lost the head of our family to myeloma. Grandad was my hero, a man I looked up to and provided guidance, love, fun and creativity to the whole family. 

I am running the marathon to raise awareness and vital funds to help families going through the same as we did. 

It's probably the hardest thing I have trained to do, and before training started the furthest I'd run was 5k!!! To say I am am built for speed not endurance. The challenge will be mentally and physically taxing but something I am looking forward to. Hopefully no injuries!
