Story
Ryedale Special Families are hoping for people to help them with there 'Get A Move On' campaign to find a new Headquarters. Their current HQ has become too small compared to the big amount of families (including mine) that are helped by their services of care and kindness.
I have been helped by RSF since I was very young and I'm now 19 so I think that since they have given so much well needed assistance that it was time to give something back.
With my health Issues, the chances of me acheiving an (actual) marathon are very slim and would probably put me halfway to a heart attack!
The one thing I'm good (debatable) at is Gaming. Be it a bit of FIFA or some Call of Duty, both are guranteed safer for me to do virtually than real life. It might sound easy at first, but when you think of gaming for 24 hours solid, it will be a challenge, and one I can achieve.
RSF have seen me at highest and lowest, and have always been there when I've pressed the CRISIS button, both in helping me pick myself up and giving my parents a well needed break.
This is just one of many stories of how RSF have helped them with anything from socialising, getting out of the house to just having a bit of company. I can only speak for myself, but I'm certain there is more untold stories from people like myself.
Whoever you are, i really can't exaggerate how much any donation can help. If you relate or are just an avid gamer like me, please help me get through a LONG 24 hours and RSF find a new home.
Thanks.
