Originally planned as a charity ride from Paris to London, COVID has meant that the route has been shifted from Yorkshire to London, covering almost 300 miles over 3 days.
Notorious for glorious autumn weather, 3 days cycling into the prevailing wind should be made more palatable by the fact we are raising funds for a fantastic charity.
With an Ironman event delayed because of COVID, taking on a cycling challenge with friends for such a great cause, felt like an appropriate way to repurpose training for good.
Whilst COVID has impacted this ride, it's had a significantly more material impact on charities and their ability to raise funds and complete their valuable work.
