Hi everyone! you may have seen through my Instagram that I was diagnosed with a brain tumour in December 2019, and underwent successful surgery in Feb 2020.

During this time, I decided I wanted to complete an Ironman to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research.

Despite the severity of the disease, there is currently very limited treatment and more efforts need to be put into research to find a sustainable, long lasting treatment or cure.

Brain tumours are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone at any age. What’s more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer... yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease.

I am racing in a Full Distance Ironman Triathlon on 12th Sept in Spain. This includes: 

2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle, finishing with 26 mile run

100% of money raised will be going towards Brain Tumour Research
