Story
I've come to the conclusion that I must be crazy. I've signed up to run 100km on the 23rd May 2015! I've not returned to my glory days of training since my Marathon back in 2013 and I felt that I needed to set myself a real challenge.
So here it is, the challenge! Gulp. I'll have to cover 100km (62 miles), that's Richmond to Brighton, and I want to complete it in under 10 hours (hopefully I won't need too many pit stops!).
This is going to be ridiculously hard and the training beforehand will be very intense. To put it into perspective for you, I'll have to run at least 4 marathons before I even get to the start line. What have I done...
I will be raising money for The NSPCC who are the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.
Please donate what you can. This is for a great cause. I am truly dreading this challenge, but the thought of making a difference to somebody's life will keep me going through the depth of winter.
To donate by SMS, text; CMLB87 £5 or whatever you can afford to 70070.
