I have chosen to run a marathon for the charity “Children 1st” as they aim to give every child in Scotland a safe and secure childhood, whilst also supporting families under stress, protecting children from harm and neglect, promoting children’s rights and helping them recover from abuse. 

For me, it wasn’t a difficult decision as to which charity I was going to donate to as there has been a surge in domestic child abuse during the covid-19 pandemic, as well as more and more families struggling to provide their children with the basic necessities - things may of us take for granted. 

Any donations welcome as all donations make a difference!
