Hello all.

I've been a pretty lazy bum over the last year (apart from the odd 5 a side game) and I think it's time to challenge myself mentally and physically with a lengthy duathlon.

I was in two minds about it, being only 8 weeks anyway and me being in the state I'm in, but now I've signed up for charity there's no backing out. Please spare a tenner or so to sponsor me and contribute to BHF's cause and I will be very grateful.

Cardiovascular disease has taken its toll on most of the men in my family due to inherited high cholesterol and is the number one killer in the UK. We have to invest in the fight against it and especially in educating children and families about the importance of eating right and the dangers that obesity poses to the heart.
