We are there when it matters to support people through dying or grief.

Story

I will be undertaken this challenge for Sue Ryder who do some fantastic things throughout the UK.

I will be specifically raising money for Dee View Court in Aberdeen, this is the only specialised neurological care centre in Scotland. They care for people between 18-65 living with long-term, degenerative neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, acquired brain injuries and many more.

Dee View Court see the individual rather than the condition
and this mind-set of letting people live as full and independent a life as
possible is highly sought after and the demand for places at Dee View is high. Therefore in June 2017 Sue Ryder’s Dee View Court launched a two year fundraising appeal to raise £3.9 million to enhance and extend the current facilities and double the capacity. It is estimated that one million people in Scotland are living with a neurological condition which is significantly impacting their life.

Dee View aims to ensure that no person living with a neurological condition feels trapped, in the wrong place, like they’ve been written off.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated and would help massively in achieving Dee View's goal.

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
