Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our page...

We understand that everyone gets bombarded with these requests but we really appreciate all of your generous support.

We are running the Richmond Half on May 6th. Not as impressive as doing a Full, but as everyone will know long distance running has never been our strong point! Short bursts of acceleration, both on and off the sports fields typically define us, but this is definitely a great place to start changing that.

Our 13.1 miles is in aid of The Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy and most importantly for Alfie Fielden, who is the dear son of Rowan Feilden, and brother of Charlie, his twin. Incredibly sadly, Alfie has been diagnosed with SMA. Spinal Muscular Atrophy manifests in various degrees of severity which all have in common general muscle wasting and mobility impairment. There is a massive contingent of friends already running in support of this charity at the Bath Half in March and raising money for an all-terrain wheelchair for Alfie. We didn't quite get ourselves signed up for it which is why we have chosen to do the Richmond Half.

This is such a worthwhile cause for such a special little boy so please please dig deep and donate as generously as you can.

Thanks for your kind support.

All the best,

Charlie and Henry
