Story
During a period of self reflection it occurred to me that during the last year or so whenever anything gets rough it became very easy to turn to the “binging Britain” culture. With this in mind I wanted to see if I could spin it around and kick the booze for 30 days.
So why not do something for others whilst trying to do something for myself, Shelter are a fantastic charity and supporting the homeless has always been something I try to do so time to go one step further. It’s easy to become self centred and think your problems are worse then others when that simply isn’t true, and shelter are helping people who are truly struggling so I would love to help them out.
After the 30 days pass I will also be doing the Yorkshire 3 peaks just for an added bit of a challenge (I may attempt this bare foot as I believe in grounding but the practicalities of that may come in to question will update closer to the time).
My good friend Declan will also be accompanying me on this challenge and to help us raise some money. He’s a top man and someone I look up to so happy to have him supporting me.
Thanks for reading (and hopefully donating)
