Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

Running the London Marathon is something I've always wanted to do so this year I have decided to go for it! I'll be running for the Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity close to my heart as they supported my family and I throughout my battle with blood cancer 3 years ago.

During this time my friends and family undertook all sorts of fundraising events, from charity bowling nights, to sponsored runs/hikes, a 300 mile cycle and even some sponsored head shaves! All in all we raised over £20,000 for Blood Cancer UK which was incredible and meant the world to my family and I.

When I look back on my experience with cancer now I feel so proud of all the people in my life that helped turn a negative experience into something so positive, and I will forever be grateful for you all!

This year felt like the perfect time to try and raise some money myself, and the Teenage Cancer Trust seemed like the perfect charity to do it for. Having experienced first hand what this charity does for teenagers and young adults going through cancer I'm so grateful for the opportunity to try and raise some money for them, whilst also ticking something off my own bucket list.

Any shares of this page and donations of any amount would be massively appreciated!

Thank you!
