Story
I was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma in August 2020 and it was the scariest time of my life. I needed to have the first surgery to remove the mole and then a second big surgery to take as much tissue as possible so I had the best chance of removing the cancer. I also had to have a sentinel lymph node biopsy so that we could check the cancer hadn’t spread.
Waiting for my results was terrifying and Macmillan supported me the whole way through. I had so many questions about chemotherapy, pregnancy after chemotherapy and what my chances of survival were. I want to raise money for Macmillan so that they continue to support people with cancer.
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. At Macmillan, we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are our worries. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure.
