This Decembeard I’m growing a beard to raise vital funds for the charity Beating Bowel Cancer and helping them reach their goal of raising £250,000 so they can beat bowel cancer.

I was diagnosed with bowel cancer and during the last three months have had treatment. I'm having surgery at the end of October to beat this awful disease. 

I feel we all need to be aware of symptoms and to get them checked out early.
