Fundraising for The Sick Children's Trust
Dear family and friends,
After a brilliant but rather tiring day yesterday, I am delighted to say that I completed the London yesterday afternoon. I finished at around 12:45AM with an overall time of 3:07 in total. For a first marathon, I was absolutely delighted with the amazing support shown throughout the event, most notably with the Sick Children's Trust camp at Mile 21. Having the charity so close to the finished gave me a massive boost to get to the line as fast as possible, and helped me keep a good time going into the last 10 Kilometres of the event.
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who was kind enough to support me through donations and kind messages over the last two months. I would like you to know that your money is making a huge and very real difference to a families life when they truly need it most, an amazing thing indeed. Through all of your kind support, I have been able to raise over 10 thousand pounds during this process.
I would like to say a massive thank you to the Children's Trust for giving me the opportunity to be able to run this amazing event. I'd like to thank my support group including my amazing mother and father, and once again a huge thank you to you all, your donations have been so kind.
I'll see you all next year possibly...
Charlie.
