Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My father was larger than life. He gave me and my two sisters a wonderful and priveleged upbringing and we are all eternally grateful. My dad Mike used to love nothing more than getting on his bike and cycling 40-50 miles with his friends. He had a collection of about 6 amazing racing bikes and loved the tour de France. He also loved walking in to the Dales and yakking with his pals. On July 18th 2008 my father fell ill on a Friday night. One week later he had passed from acute pancreatitis at St James hosptial Leeds. It seems fitting that the event Race to the Stones (100KM) over two days has presented me an opportunity to riase some charity funds in his memory. I have chosen the Pancreatitis Supporters Network charity. Losing a parent leaves an indelible mark in your life that becomes part of who you are. I miss him each and every moment. Please support me as I walk to the stones in my dads eternal memory. Thanks, Charlie.x
