On the 15th May this year I will be taking part in the Copenhagen Marathon and raising money for Headway, a charity supporting those who have suffered brain injury. 

The reality of brain injury and the impacts this can have hit home on 10th December 2020 when a good friend, Ali Turpie, suffered a stroke aged 28. After initially being told that he will never speak again, Ali has worked extremely hard at his rehabilitation and in doing so has beaten the odds to regain his speech. I am sure he will agree, this wouldn't have been possible without his support network and the help of medical professionals. By raising money for this great cause, Headway will support those who have suffered from brain injury.
