Story
I have been in training since January of this year having run marathons in Paris, in China over the Great Wall, across the South Downs as well as other tough mudder courses, all leading up to November 12th where I will be taking part in the Worlds Toughest Mudder which is a non stop extreme 24-hour obstacle course in the Nevada desert. Its fair to say that training has taken over my life and knowing that a charity can benefit more out of this more than me will push me on harder.
The James Wentworth-Stanley Memorial fund has been set up by James’s parents to help raise awareness of anxiety, depression and suicide amongst young people and to tackle the terrible and shocking statistic that suicide is the leading cause of death amongst young men in the UK. This is a charity which I feel strongly about supporting a would be extremely humbled to be able raise money of any amount towards a worthwhile cause.
Please take a moment to read more about the charity at www.jwsmf.org
