Story
Hello wonderful people.
For the last 5 years, I have been quite simply living it up and you could bet your bottom dollar you would find me in some form of boozer come the weekend.
With that in mind (and an ever-growing beer belly), I have decided to take on the mammoth challenge that is the London Marathon. I will be running to raise money for a charity called Orchid, which is fighting against male cancer.
This is following my Dad's diagnosis of prostate cancer in July 2017 and his continued battle.
Orchid has over 20 years of experience researching various male cancers with many notable successes. Around 50,000 men are diagnosed with a form of male-specific cancer every year, making it one of the top killers of men.
Please donate generously (it's a big target), I will be posting updates of my no doubt sweaty runs and if you're in the area give me a shout as a running partner will not go amiss.
I'll see you down the pub in April, but until then I'm hitting the lycra and shakes!
