Story
Hazel and I are walking up Mt Snowdon and back (a round trip of circa 15k, and a climb of just over 1000 metres) in aid of the Province of Cheshire 2027 Festival Appeal in support of MCF who provide much needed support grants to over 250+ Cheshire Freemasons each year.
A lot of people ask exactly what the Freemasons do, often
with a misconception of you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours! Not so, here’s a tiny mention of some of the charities that have benefited from the generosity of Freemasons in England and Wales:
Reuben's retreat - Blood Bikes. - Air ambulance.- Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) - over 3 million teddies provided for children admitted into hospital to comfort them.- Bliss - who provide care for sick and premature babies.- Opal - provide services and help for older people and in particular to those in rural areas. - Young minds - mental health services for young people. - All Hospices in England and Wales including Willow Wood, Maggie's, St. Annes and Dr Kershaw's.
Thank you in advance for your donation David and Hazel
