***5 days to go*** thanks so much to all those who have supported. Not long to go now.....(starting to bite those nails)
In my love for adventure I decided one of the ultimate thrills must be to fly through the air like Wonder Woman. As I’m merely mortal I figured it might be wise to replace the cape with a parachute and give this a go.
I have a slight fear of heights and have been known to scream my heart out, at the top of a roller coaster or two, I thought it may be wise to do this for a reason; that way I can't chicken out.
My grandmother is one of many to suffer from A
lzheimer’s, which is a difficult disease which affects the individual and their friends and family. There's little known about its cause and the support needed is often underestimated. I love my gran and she's always been the matriarch in my family.
I'm therefore planning to jump out of a plane and hopefully not land in a tree as my colleague did last week (subsequently breaking all tendons in her ankle). The Alzheimer’s Society offer guidance and support for living with or caring for someone with dementia.
Please support the cause as this could affect anyone; sciences are ever improving but whilst it’s catching up, as they say every little bit helps x. J
