Story

So I’ve decided to get my fat butt off the sofa, and run the 2019 London marathon to raise money for Child Bereavement UK.

Child Bereavement UK are a charity who support families and professionals when a baby/child is dying, has died or when a child is facing a bereavement. Their vision is for all families to have the support they need to rebuild their lives, including face to face sessions and a national helpline.

From working on the cardiac intensive care ward at GOSH, I’ve witness first hand the importance of such services to families and siblings, who are going through an unimaginable situation. Even though at GOSH, we are lucky enough to have our own family liaison service, smaller hospitals do not have that privilege- and this is where these charities come in.

If you’d like to sponsor me, any donations, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you
