Story

So, in yet another one of my 'so called' great ideas, Im sat here writing this! Without thinking of the consequences (Im horrendously unfit) the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge popped into my head (unforunately it didnt pop out again.) I promptly sent a group message out to my work colleagues and to my amazement they agreed to walk it with me, not only that but somehow we as a group maanged to rope close friends and family into it too (yes, I know what youre thinking, they must not have thought it through either.).......so, with a fairly large group established including group mascot 'Finlay' the dog here we are asking you to dig deep into those moth filled pockets of yours :-)

I was amazed when friends agreed to walk the Yorkshire Three Peaks with me but when i added 'Lets do it for charity' it was a dead cert for a group of like minded individuals who spend their time and energy caring for your four legged friends!!

Naturally, our chosen charity was to be animal based and Guide Dogs For The Blind was the chosen lucky one! A fantastic charity that ultimately helps those less fortunate than ourselves. From birth to retirement , it will cost a whopping £50,000 to support a guide dog (no easy feat for any charity) so as you can well imagine every little helps!

So come on guys, dig deep and help support one of those gorgeous little pups destined for a life of helping another live theirs!

xx

Suppose I best put this wine down and start hitting the gym then!

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
