How better to celebrate my 40th birthday than by swimming accross the English Channel from Dover to France?? Along with five others, I will be swimming the Channel in a relay at some point during the week 27th-31st July 2016 (conditions permitting). We will keep swimming in one hour shifts, until we get to the other side! Channel rules apply, so we'll just be wearing swimming cossies. The temperature will probably be 16-17c. We will face strong tides and currents, sea life, and the dark!
