Story
As a young ambassador / mentor for the Brain Tumour Charity I am planning to run the London marathon in 2018 for the Lewis Moody Foundation to remember my friends and those who I have met over the years who have been affected by brain tumours. It's horrible to think that brain tumours remain the biggest cancer killer of under 40's ... this should even be a statistic! Together with the Lewis Moody Foundation and Brain Tumour Charity we can reduce the diagnosis time and reduce the impact brain tumours have on people around the UK, together we can improve international research into brain tumours and encourage people to become brain tumour aware through Headsmart UK.
I was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 3 and have since had 3 operations to remove the tumour I call Timmy. I am asking for your help to reach my target of £3,500 because I want to together we can make a difference and help the charity reach its goals of halving the harm that brain tumours cause.
My life has not been a walk in the park, and its been eventful to say the least. But having a brain tumour has shown me my passion - to fundraise and help others reach their goals. For that reason between now and April I will be fundraising for the charity through music events, raffles and through online vlogs that show my training, me talking about life with a brain tumour and much more.
I hope that you will follow my journey and donate if you can! Thank you in advance, Chandy!
