THE CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS CHARITY DARTS COMPETITION HAS A RICH AND PROSPEROUS HISTORY WITHIN PLYMOUTH AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, ATTRACTING THOUSANDS OF PLAYERS AND RAISING TENS OF THOUSANDS OF POUNDS FOR WORTHY CAUSES ACROSS THE PAST FOUR DECADES SINCE IT'S INCEPTION BY STEVE CHAPMAN IN 1985...

ALL MONIES RAISED FROM THIS CAMPAIGN WILL BE GOING TO LYD WARD. LYD WARD IS DERRIFORD'S CHEMOTHERAPY UNIT WHICH COVERS A POPULATION OF 480,000 SPANNING EAST DEVON, WEST CORNWALL, AND THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH AND PROVIDES SYSTEMIC ANTI-CANCER TREATMENT (SACT) FOR ALL TYPES OF CANCER...

BECAUSE OF THE BROAD NATURE OF THE PATIENTS TREATED WITH CHEMOTHERAPY THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT PATHWAYS BY WHICH PATIENTS ARE ASSESSED FOR CHEMOTHERAPY, I.E. PATHWAYS ARE SPECIFIC TO INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENTS DELIVERY AND ALSO DIFFER BETWEEN HAEMATOLOGY AND ONCOLOGY...
