Story

Hi there and Thank You for visiting my JustGiving Page!

My name is John Farnworth, I am a Football Freestyler from the UK. In March 2019 I am about to take on my toughest challenge yet, crossing the Sahara Desert while keeping a ball under control with my feet. I have previously completed other endurance challenges with the ball such as the London Marathon and Mount Everest (6,000m) but I feel the Sahara will challenge me in so many different ways.

WHY AM I DOING THIS CHALLENGE?

Last year I was introduced to Children's Hospice Derian House and I was blown away with the incredible care and support that they are giving to children and young people with life threatening conditions. After seeing the work that they do and understanding the amounts they need to provide the care needed for the youngsters and their families I wanted to do something using my skills as a football freestyler to raise as much money as possible. Derian House is a truly special place and my goal is to raise as much money as possible for them.

Any amount would be gratefully received so please spread the word. YOU DONATIONS WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THOSE WHO NEED IT!!

Thank you for visiting my page and following my journey raising money for Derian House.

John
