If the virus doesn't kill them, then the starvation will.
People against Poverty work in six countries in Nepal, Haiti, Malawi, India, Romania and Tanzania. Working in communities to help families better their circumstances through education, training and feeding their basic needs. Giving them a handshake not a handout!
Due to the coronovirus pandemic, the families are now unable to work. Work to them means no money, no money means no food. For weeks now people are scrapping to find food but because they are in lock down there is no food to scavenge.
People against Poverty are calling on us to help raise essential funds to feed 1,000's of the people in each of the communities with basic food parcels of rice, flour and oil. These will provide them to make very simple meals for their families and at least keep them fit and alive to fight off the virus.
Currently on lock down themselves, they cannot work and therefore don't have the funds to purchase food.
