Story
My one friend from Uni is battling cancer (admitted, I wasn't good at making friends, so it wasn't difficult to only make one! Plus she had sweets and a Metallica badge).
She's mostly doing this with her incredible mind and attitude, as her body is being somewhat frustrating!
Ever since she was diagnosed, I've wanted to do something to help, which means I've mostly just text her annoying messages of 'support' like "Ummm, can you get better soon so we can drink wine and moan about the world", "Can you just punch it in the throat now please?", or "You can't be ill, you have too much friending to do",.
So, I decided I should try and raise money for her chosen charity, Macmillan*. Anyone that knows me well, knows I'm not great at decisions, so I put it to you (anyone that's reading this) to decide what I should do to raise said money!
I'm not scared of much (heights, enclosed spaces, falling from the sky etc. all fine by me). However, I am somewhat fearing of failure. If I put my name to something (like a marathon), I will be hugely anxious that I'll let myself down. SO I'm not deciding what to do!
I will open up this page for donations. Please add your comments and/or donations and, dependent on the donation amount, I will consider the challenge.
I will try and do at least one 'thing' per month, again dependent on scale and time required. Please bear in mind I have a full time job, 2 cats, a dog and a boyfriend :D (not in order of priority).
*I will still be sending her annoying messages of support.
