I am running the TCS London Marathon for Alzheimer's Research UK for my late Granny Sarah who sadly lost her battle to Dementia in February 2022 after a long 10 year battle with the disease which is heart breaking to go through for all the family members. 

My dear Granny will be thinking I'm mad doing something like this for her. However, I believe it's so important more research is done to help diagnose, treat and hopefully cure Alzheimer's in the future as 1 in 3 people born in the UK will get dementia in their lifetime. Alzheimer's Research UK aims to bring about the first life-changing dementia treatment by 2025. 

I would like to thank anyone who donates to this very worthy cause. I am truly touched, and this will very much help push me through those tough training days. All in aid of a great woman who is very dearly missed by us all.
