OK, so here is a description of the insane 8 mile challenge we have decided to undertake:

This land is used to test Army vehicles so it will be interesting! We will reach a long hill shortly after the start before descending again eventually reaching a water filled ravine. You will run on over puddle-strewn paths before having to crawl under camouflage netting. We'll eventually reach some man-made mounds before arriving at and running through some even larger puddles. We will get very wet! We'll run on to the fast vehicle driving circuit where it is rocky underfoot. This brings us to some more large areas of water and the finish area.....in December it's going to be gnarly!!!

Seeing as I can barely run 2 miles at the moment 8 miles through this kind of terrain is going to hurt!!

Please sponser David and I to do this event, the Motor Nuerone Disease association is close to my heart as my grandfather died of this disease. This is only part one of a list of crazy adventures I'm going to plan :-)
